Today is International Women’s Day, a day that celebrates economic, cultural, social and political achievements of women. Our team has so many amazing people that help make Purelight Power a success, and bring solar to homeowners across Oregon, Montana, and Iowa.
According to an article from the Solar Energy Industry Association, women only comprise 26% of the entire solar industry. This is despite jobs in solar growing faster than general job growth in America.
As Purelight Power and the renewable energy industry continues to grow, we’re excited to see what that means for more women joining in the solar revolution.
Today, and for the rest of this month, we’re celebrating just a few of the women who are already part of the team at Purelight Power. Each Tuesday we’ll be sharing a new video in this space.
Join us to hear from some of the women of Purelight, as they discuss their experiences working in solar.
